Wiiz Led Lights

LED light bulbs have overtaken the lighting market for several weighty reasons, most of all their long lives and lowered electricity consumption. Now, more than ever, offices and homes are gearing up to illuminate their homes with LED lighting and so enjoy its many benefits.

Here are a few of its leading advantages:

Energy-efficient

Overall, LED lights save 50% electricity than their incandescent and traditional counterparts. So, you can imagine how much energy and money you can save by converting to Led Lights for the Home. This can translate into a lot of money-saving if lights are kept on for long periods.

LEDs also throw light in a focused area, unlike conventional bulbs, which do this in all directions.

By using directional lighting, you save on light and energy.

Long-term investment

LED lights neither burn out nor do they fail, but only dim with time. High quality LED lights continue to work for about 40,000 hours on average, depending on their quality. On the other hand, an incandescent bulb usually lasts just about 1,000 hours, so you can see the difference in their longevity. LEDs therefore reduce the labour cost of installing new bulbs in factories and offices, thereby reducing the lighting system’s maintenance costs.

Durability: LEDs neither need glass enclosures nor filaments, yet they are break-resistant and can withstand vibrations and other harsh impacts. Conventional bulbs are held together in a glass exterior, which is usually prone to damage. However, LEDs are supported on a circuit board and do not use glass.

Environment-friendly: Since LEDs do not contain the toxic mercury that conventional bulbs do, they are not dangerous to our health, neither are they expensive to maintain. Their content of carbon dioxide is also far lesser than other lighting systems.

Small size: LED chips are thin and small, so they can easily be supported in extremely narrow and thin containers and give the same quality of performance.

No infrared or ultraviolet emissions:  Under 10 percent of the electricity used by conventional bulbs are converted to light as we see it, while the majority of electricity is converted into infrared heat. Ultraviolet radiation causes burns to users and to materials, while LEDs do not emit either infrared or ultraviolet rays.

With newer LED lighting technologies in play now, the cost of manufacturing LEDs have also caused more people to rely on them.

With the correct selection of light—whether at home or at the workplace—we can do so much more without fear of hazards. Not only does this do positive things for our environment, but it also increases our productivity and makes us more comfortable.
